sunburn) – sunglasses
– sunblock (easy to get sunburned at high elevation)
– pillow (small)
– sleeping bag (small)
– toiletries
– 2 bath towels
– rain jacket
– hiking or walking shoes
– shorts or pants & tee shirts for evenings
– fleece, light jacket, or flannel shirt for evenings
– Bible (note – no cell phone signal)
– backpack optional
N-X Ranch notes
– cool at night, warm-hot in afternoon (45-80ºF)
– Altitude is over 8,000’: easy to get dehydrated & sunburned –
Stay Hydrated! Drink lots of water!
(you will not sweat, water will evaporate out of you)
– No cell phone signal, if emergency have family contact N-X Ranch
For Rafting trip, bring:
swimsuit (fast drying material, nothing cotton, no shorts)
water shoes, or river sandals (must have back strap)
UnderArmor or similar polyester long sleeve shirt is optional
sunglasses with strap, and sunscreen
change of dry clothes
