• Kids Hope USA – Working with students selected by the school counselor, mentors spend one hour per week talking, reading, playing, and listening to a child.  Prayer Partners pray for a specific student-mentor partnership.  All volunteers are trained and have unlimited access to resources through the national organization Kids Hope USA.  Click here to learn more about Kids Hope USA.
• Weekend Food Backpacks – Our Food Backpack Team meets monthly to pack backpacks with food for students at Curtis Elementary and Ikard Elementary to eat on weekends and school holidays.  Students are selected by the school counselors based on need. 
• School Clothes – At the beginning of each school year, we work with school counselors to provide clothes and shoes to students in need at WISD elementary schools.  In addition, we provide clothes and shoes as needed throughout the school year.  Volunteers shop, pack backpacks, and deliver to the schools.  
• Angel Tree – At Christmas Time, our Angel Tree is filled with gifts for WISD students selected by their school counselors.  Each student receives clothes, shoes, and a wish item.  Volunteers help organize and set up the Angel Tree, shop, wrap gifts, and deliver items to schools.
